"Internet Safety/Protect Our Children Online" is an individualized, extensive program designed to educate teachers, parents and community groups.

Sutton Place Psychologists has been sponsoring Internet Safety Programs for Children in New York City for the past 10 years. These programs have been highly successful in teaching children strategies for staying safe online and educating parents, teachers and schools on all aspects of internet safety for children.  Our programs have been introduced throughout the New York City Independent School system and have also been taught throughout the educational system of the United Kingdom. 

Our in-depth Internet Safety Programs cover such critical issues as:

* Inappropriate websites,
* identifying potentially dangerous and/or inappropriate online contacts,
* protecting and not providing personal and private information of your child,
* protecting your child from internet addiction, 
* the importance of limit settings,
* cyberbullying,
* social network and media safety,
* parental monitoring and tracking devices and
* parental control software and apps. 

Our Clinicians offer Specialty Educational Services that include:

*  Individualized work with children and adolescents;

* Parent Workshops Series focusing on the dangers and benefits of the internet; how to best monitor your child; how to install safety features online; group discussions on current issues parents face in this rapidly changing digital era and

* Joint Educational & Instructional Workshops with parents and children on internet safety.
