Dr. Serena Deutsch is a Clinical Psychologist with over twenty years experience in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Deutsch has extensive training and expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Insight-Oriented Therapy.
Dr. Deutsch has created programs that educate children, parents, schools and community groups on Internet Safety, Internet Addiction Disorders and Cyberbullying. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Deutsch is the Psychological Consultant and Advisor to several New York City private schools for the past fifteen years. Internationally, Dr. Deutsch has introduced programs on Internet Safety throughout the educational system in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Deutsch works extensively on friendship issues and provides children and adolescents with skills and strategies to navigate the many challenges of their interpersonal world. She also proactively addresses the significant challenges and stressors that impact the fulfillment, functioning and happiness of children and adults so they can reach their fullest capacity and potential.
Dr. Deutsch is the Executive Vice President of Educational Programs for both One Bright World Inc. and The Ruthar Foundation. She is also Vice President of Innocence In Danger (IID) in both the US and UK. Dr. Deutsch is also on the Advisory Board of Daniel’s Music Foundation in NY.
Dr. Deutsch is a frequent participant on panels and symposiums at such places as the United Nations in New York City and the National Press Club in Washington D.C. In addition, Dr. Deutsch travels globally to provide her expertise and, most recently, presented "Protecting Children on the Internet" to a London symposium.
